Reflected Affinities: Diana on the Run

Shadow, echo and mirage are three indirect and intuitive modes of sensing that extend direct means of perception through vision, hearing and touch.  Diana, the Roman goddess of the forest and the hunt, was traditionally associated with the reflective and dark aspects of the moon and its cycles.  These photographs reveal the traces of some of her activities to help locate, chase and capture wild things, places or thoughts.  This three-fold work brings together image, text and concept in metaphoric associative ways of mapping and snaring the quarries of desire.
